The city (Sydney, Australia) is an ever-changing surface on a deep, ancient land. To make this photograph, I stood on the roof of my car on a windy day with bright clouds.
Bio
Sally McInerney’s photographs have been exhibited in many solo and group shows, including the Head On Landscape Award (2020) and the National Photographic Portrait Prize. Her artist’s book Family Fragments, consisting of 35 black and white family photographs, some up to 100 years old and printed as photo-etchings, has been exhibited at Bathurst and New England regional galleries and at the State Library of NSW.
