In a cloud of silver confetti the fourth edition of the International Photo Festival Leiden was opened on Saturday 7 April by IPFL president Martijn van Delft. Almost all of the photographers were present for the official opening ceremony and for drinks afterwards. They came from all over the Netherlands to attend, but the photographers from Belgium, Germany and Ireland also attended.

During the opening Yaël Vinckx, Dutch writer and journalist interviewed the photographers during a mini talkshow. Each of them was called into the spotlights for some short questions about their work, their inspiration and their plans for the future.

IPFL can be visited until 15 April in Leiden.
