IPFL continues collaboration with Photoville

European photographers of Photo Festival Leiden on show again in New York

For the second year in row the work of the twenty selected photographers of the International Photo Festival Leiden 2015 (IPFL) will be exhibited at Photoville, Brooklyn, New York. Photoville is one of the largest free open-air photo festivals of the United States, with more than 71,000 visitors. Photovilleaims to create a platform where different photographers can show their work to a wide public. Exhibitions take place in large sea containers and in the open air. The works of the IPFL selection is on show from September 10-20, 2015.

Last year, the IPFL had a 20 ft container, but this year it’s a 40 ft one! That means that in New York twice as much work of the selected IPFL-photographers will be on show.

The collaboration between the IPFL and Photoville is not only limited to the open-air exhibition in New York. As in 2014, this year the work of 20 emerging U.S. photographers will be exhibited in eight sea containers in Leiden at the beautiful square in front of the ‘Pieterskerk’ church.

Besides Photoville, we have a collaboration with Head On in Sydney and are working on more partnerships.
